At first, I hesitated. "Where am I, a high school math teacher, going to find the time to run a business?" I thought. My days were already filled with lesson planning, grading, and guiding students. But the idea lingered, and one name on her list stuck with me: Bakehause—a nod to my roots, as I was born in Germany.

I finally took the leap. Bakehause was born, and I started with the classics: sweet potato pies, German Chocolate cupcakes, and Red Velvet cupcakes. My sister soon challenged me to experiment with a strawberry cupcake. After weeks of tweaking and perfecting the recipe, I finally created a flavor that was an instant hit.

From that moment on, there was no turning back. What started as a Thanksgiving experiment has grown into something far beyond what I could have imagined. Today, Bakehause is a celebration of tradition, love, and creativity—a journey from my kitchen to your table.
